•      The difference between water and other features (Landsat 9)

This false-color image allows us to visualize the vegetation in the near-infrared wavelength that our eyes cannot see. Here we use the near-infrared wavelength as red. Darker red indicates denser vegetation. Cyan represents barren ground (no vegetation). Water is black but sediment makes the water look blue.
