Romania EUROEST’s Plug-In Hybrid Locomotive is the most modern, version of an old diesel-hydraulic locomotive. The Hybrid locomotive has an electric powertrain and a diesel generator for charging the large-capacity batteries on board. Romania EUROEST says their solution reduces, fuel consumption, pollutant emissions, and maintenance, significantly.
