BEVANT–A NEW BIOFUEL TO FULLY REPLACE FOSSIL DIESEL

BeVant is a biofuel announced by Be8–Brazil’s biodiesel firm.

Biodiesel is a fuel that is produced from renewable sources—vegetable oils and animal fat. It can be used as a fuel supplement to partially replace fossil diesel oil.

The mixture of fossil fuel (petroleum-based) and biofuel is identified as B followed by the number representing the percentage of biodiesel added. B6 is a mixture with 6% biodiesel. B100 is pure biodiesel. BeVant is the pure biodiesel announced by Be8 in 2023.

Be8 says the “American technology of Crown Iron Company” is used for biodiesel production, meeting the national and international specifications (ANP, ASTM D 6751-06, and EM 14214)

According to Be8, BeVant goes beyond biofuel:

• A clean product that can be used 100% pure in diesel engines
• BeVant is considered an ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel)
• Reduces greenhouse gas emissions
• A low acidity level and free of contaminants
• Excellent combustion efficiency
• Greater lubricity, eliminating the need for chemical additives
• Meeting the demands of the logistics sector (public transportation, road, waterway, maritime, and railway freight fleets)
• Perfectly suited for use in generators
